From day one he was attached to Al's hip, and that hasn't changed. His spunky adventurousness and eagerness to throw himself into any trouble he found gave him his name, and his jealousy towards anyone that took Al's attention away from him sealed it for all time. Eddie is especially grumpy around Envy, sensing the very conflicted feelings Alphonse has for his half-brother. Still, he is very loyal to Al and will happily stay by his trainer's side no matter what.
