[Thankfully, Jimmy doesn't have to wait too long before Al calls him back, looking very amused.]

Hey, Jimmy! What's up?

I was wondering if you wanted to go do something! It's been a while since we got to hang out, like at the game room at prom that one time...I've been so busy with the Haunted House, but I've got the day off today!

[One day, because he almost couldn't afford that much.]

Oh, sure! I've been really busy lately myself, or I would have suggested something before. Where do you wanna meet up?

I'm not sure yet, actually! I was thinkin' the arcade, but...that'd be kinda like what we did already.

Maybe we could go get something to eat?

Sounds good to me! I feel like I've been eating the same thing over and over for months now, I could do with a change of pace.

Alright, cool! S'there anywhere special you wanna go?

I saw a really cool looking place on my way home a few weeks ago--Mongolemian Grill, I think. How about we check that out?

Ooh that sounds pretty neat! Let's do it! Maybe we could meet at the Pokemon Center and walk from there?

[And soon enough, Al is walking up to the Center with a cheery grin and a tiny Emolga perched on his shoulder.]

[Jimmy has his Manectric with him when he hails Al as he approaches, trotting diligently at his side as usual.]

Hiya Al! Ready to go?

[Al grins widely to both Jimmy and Leader, and Sol hops off of Al's shoulder to glide around Leader with some happy chirps.]

Uh-huh! It's a bit of a walk from here, but not too bad.

[Leader looks up at Sol with a soft woof, his tail wagging slowly.]

Hah, I don't mind walking a little anyway! I've been on the go since the Haunted House opened up, so what's a little more walking around gonna hurt?

[Sol chirps and settles on Leader's head, happy to find a new friend to make.]

Just figured I'd warn you! [He sets off down the street, trusting that Jimmy will follow along.] How is the Haunted House doing this year? I know Envy's been working non-stop on all the costumes.

It's been doing great! We've had tons of new people coming to help out, as well as old ones who visited last year. I think Jack would've really been proud of the turnout.

[armoredsoul]

That's awesome! Sounds like a blast. Jack is the one that ran it all before, right?

[awesmazings]

Yup, that's right! I decided I wanted to keep the Haunted House going even though he left, so that's what I plan on doing! And everybody still seems to like it, so I'm glad for that.

I'm glad too! It sounds like you're living up to his legacy, alright.

How have you been though, Al? Any new Pokemon adventures to report?
