[Not even a full day since Heather had found Henry lying in the park, beaten all to hell.]
[It wasn't Walter who'd done it, and Henry had actually attacked the guy first, but Envy's blood is still boiling even thinking about the way his best friend looks right now, how bady he'd been hurt. He feels like he needs to do SOMETHING, but he has no idea what.]
[Which means it's time for him to be pacing outside, hands jammed into his pockets and muttering angrily.]
[Alphonse has complicated feelings about the whole incident, to be honest. While he understands fully that Walter has done pretty horrible things to Henry back home, and would probably continue to do those things if given a chance, the sheer force of anger and violence out of the usually quiet man is intimidating and, to be perfectly frank, terrifying. And it's not like the poor Pokemon could be expected to understand anything other than that it's trainer was being attacked out of nowhere and needed defending. He has sympathy for Henry's pain here, but really? He dun fucked up.]
[Al was headed to the kitchen to get a mug of hot cocoa when he passes by the back door and happens to spot Envy out in the cold. The expression on his half-brother's face makes him pause, before Al sighs and goes to grab a coat and boots. His feet crunch in the snow as he steps outside, hands in his pockets and hat pulled down snugly over his ears.]
Exactly how much in bail are you planning to cost us right now?
[Alphonse's expression isn't nearly as stormy as Envy's is, but he still scowls and throws and arm out in gesture as he snaps back.]
And yours would wind up exactly the same if you go after that Marowak! You know it was just trying to defend it's trainer, and do you really blame it considering how Henry's been lately? I'm upset about this all too, but getting revenge is just going to bring more grief!
[Envy's scowl deepens, but it's because he knows that Al has a point. Still, he unfolds his arms so that he can gesture sharply upwards with one of them. He's started pacing again, if only because he has to get all of this out somehow, and motion is really the only good outlet at the moment.]
Well we all know that stable isn't exactly my strong suit!
Oh, yeah, going running off for revenge is definitely going to solve all the problems here! Not like that never went wrong for either of us before!
[--wait, shit, he didn't actually want to bring that up. Time to reel that back in, uh.]
Look, just--focus on helping Henry recover for now, okay? He's probably got a lot going on in his head right now, and you and Heather are about the only people he'd probably open up to about it all.

[It is not Heather or Lust. Kind of the opposite, really. Envy's furious scowl stays right where it is.]
None.
[--he snaps, then takes another few steps in the direction he was already going, conveniently away from Al.]
Or maybe it'll be a whole damn lot, I don't know! You saw his face!

[He puts his arms up to gesture angrily back as he snaps, but then crosses them, scowling.]
It's not like Henry's like this for no reason.

[He sighs and runs a hand through his hair--need to get it cut soon, it's getting shaggy again.]
He needs us to be stable right now, not blowing up the same way he did.

Well we all know that stable isn't exactly my strong suit!
That's why I'm out here and not inside!

[Al stands where he is, watching Envy tromp back and forth in the little path he's stomped into the snow.]
You can yell and punch inanimate things and curse Walter's name all you like, just don't bring any more trouble home is all I'm saying!

[...Well. He kinda does.]
All the coconut scented candles in the world wouldn't actually stop anything from coming in the house.
I just...I have to do something, don't I? He's hurt.
[This is the hard part about having people to care about besides himself. This would never have been an issue before.]
I'm not going to go dropkick the Cubone, if that's what you're wondering.
