I did it! I really did it, I got the badge! I mean, my team was way higher level than his, but still--!

[Behind Alphonse, a Liepard jumps up to put his paws on his trainer's shoulders and gives Al a lick on the cheek...then sneezes a glowing feather off his nose.]

Ah hah, Cecil, jeez! --oh, yeah, are these feathers falling anywhere else? They're all over town, and there's nothing in the sky that should be dropping them...at least that I can see.

Maybe not some things, but this could be a warning for things to come, like all the swarms and earthquakes wound up being before. If it's something happening everywhere, it'd be good to be prepared for...well, for something. I'm not sure what glowing feathers would be warning for.

[Rossiu's only experience with the Gyms was that one time he got lost and accidentally entered the Violet City Gym, but everyone in there looked pretty tough, so he's assuming that this is a great accomplishment.]

As for the feathers, they're falling in Violet as well. I don't see anything that could be dropping them either. They don't look like the feathers from any of the common birds around here.

Yeah, I don't remember seeing a Pokemon with the right sort of feathers before either...it could be a shiny one, I guess, but the shape is still weird.

They seem almost too fragile to belong to a Pokémon. I'm not sure what sort of species they could come from, much less one that's in multiple areas.

Pokemon that have a different coloration than normal. They also sparkle, which is probably why they're called shiny.

It...might be one of the really big and powerful Pokemon, I guess. One that's spreading the feathers, but keeping out of sight.

I'm not sure what it might mean, either, but...I guess the best we can do is keep our eyes peeled for any other weird things to come. It could be harmless, but I'd rather be prepared and feel silly than be caught off-guard.

That was the same for me with my first battle here. Some folks lose track of it when their team ends up high enough, but ya would be amazed at how well things work out when ya have yer team workin' as a whole.

Some, but I expected a good fight from a Gym Leader even if my Pokemon were way over his in level. It was pretty fun!

[ He notices the liepard approaching and offers it the bag to sniff. There's nothing to worry about there as far as he's concerned. Just a few potions, a couple of full heals and some pokeballs. Just things to restock his supplies.

But Yukio does reach out to see if Cecil's going to let himself be petted. Somehow, cat-like pokemon make him miss home. ]

Morty knows how to put up a good fight. I managed to get his badge before Rin came back. But it does make me wonder... it can't be good for the gym leaders letting us challenging them with pokemon way over their level, don't you think?

[ Despite his question, he seems slightly amused at the notion though. ]
