Just how common is all this stuff?

[Yeah, that's a very panicked Alphonse on the screen, with two Espurrs clinging very tightly to his head. Painfully tight, in fact, judging from that wince. And it looks like there are more huddling around Al--seriously, someone needs to find homes for them before he adopts every single damn one of them.]

At least the poor things don't seem to be hurt from it, but this is crazy! I heard about that storm with the Sharpedo, but this doesn't even make sense!

[Al starts guiltily and swivels around to look at Ed--it's something like thirteen Espurrs altogether, and now they're all staring at Ed, too. Eddie the Luxio, meanwhile, lays his ears back and glares at Ed from where he's laying under a window, well away from the fuzzy pile.]

Th-that--! Well, they were all huddled around outside, and I couldn't just leave them out where they could get hurt...

[. . . Alphonse Elric, you're about to get lectured... Ed's slightly disturbed at all the staring though.]

They're not going to get hurt. They survived from falling out of the sky, they'll be fine. [These are not normal cats. They're cats with superpowers.] You better chase them back out before you get attached to them and want to keep them all. Because that's not happening.

I wasn't gonna keep them all! [Lies.] And even still, look at them! They're all so scared!

[Well, most of them are still shivering, though they seem to be calming down now. The two on Al's head don't look like they'll be dislodged by anything, though.]

Are you sure they just don't look like that on default? And don't try, I know you'd want to keep every cat there is.

[Ed - no sympathy for scared little kittens.]

Why would you assume they do? And really, I promise I won't keep more than two! I know I can't take care of all of them...

[Even if he really, really wants to. Why can't he just magically have a giant house to keep all the kitties at, world?]

[Ed will never tell it's possible to rent a house big enough to actually fill it with kittens. Never.]

Because some of these guys have been on the ground since morning and they still look like this... and I guess you don't have a choice with the two on your head.

[Better keep him from connecting the dots once Shark House happens, then...]

Yeah, I haven't been able to get them to let go. [Al winces again as the pair cling tighter--no, don't take them away! They wanna stay with Al!]

[Ed notices Al's wince and the tightening grips. He lets out a small sigh.]

It's alright. I'm not going to force you to separate from Al. You don't have to hold onto tighter... okay?

[Both of them stare at Ed for an unnervingly long moment before they 'mowwwwwwwwww' softly and loosen their grip again. Al sighs with relief and reaches up to pat their heads.] You're safe here, you two, I promise.

[The other Espurr start 'mowww'ing too, trying again to crawl up onto Al's lap en masse.] Ack--! Hey, you know you can't all fit on me!

... I said okay to the two, not all of you!

[Ed will try to take those little espurrs down from Al. Down you go.]

[Al flails a bit before trying to help Ed dislodge the Espurrs, though it's not going very well--they're being rather stubborn!] I promise I'll find you guys good homes, I promise!

... wait a moment here, Al.

[He disappears for some time before bringing in a huge amount of Pokefood and leaves it in a corner, further away from Al. His own Espurr is munching on some of the food and the two little ones on Al will be getting their share... just hoping the other Espurr catch on.]

[The Espurr watch Ed warily as he walks out, and back in, and their attention perks when he starts setting out the food. It takes a bit but first one, then two and three and more make their way over to get some food for themselves. One of the Espurr actually gives Ed's leg a little hug and mews up at him before getting it's own food.]

[The pair On Al's head stay there for now, and Al laughs and finally gets up out of the chair.] Thanks, Brother.

[A-aawww... what a cute little gesture from the Espurr. Ed walks over to Al and offers the two on his head some of the food as well.]

Haha, I guess I'm starting to get used to this place when I know what to do.

[The pair both take the food and carefully sit on Al's shoulders, and he lifts his hands to help balance them there.] It takes some getting used to, yeah, but it's not so bad here. When cats aren't falling out of the sky, at least.

Trust me, that's not normal... at least hasn't been up until now.

Let's just hope it doesn't become a new normal! This all is stressful enough as it is just as a weird event.

Yeah. I imagine it wouldn't do good for our Pokémon either. [Scratches his Espurr under the chin, after she finishes eating.]
