Just how common is all this stuff?

[Yeah, that's a very panicked Alphonse on the screen, with two Espurrs clinging very tightly to his head. Painfully tight, in fact, judging from that wince. And it looks like there are more huddling around Al--seriously, someone needs to find homes for them before he adopts every single damn one of them.]

At least the poor things don't seem to be hurt from it, but this is crazy! I heard about that storm with the Sharpedo, but this doesn't even make sense!

Yeah, I thought you might need some help with that if they're going to stay around until then...

[Which kind of makes her wonder what about the others, but hey, it's not like they're the only people in the city to take care of these new arrivals.

Winry calls the dog back to her ball before Argentum gets angry again, just in time for her Audino to arrive with four more Espurrs; she's carrying one, one is stuck between the Audino's head and back and she's got two on both sides too...]

. . . You too?

[Winry gives her Audino a look. The Audino just stares back with the most super effective 'no you can't take these babies away from me' look... Winry shrugs, she won't even start an argue about it today. That can happen later if Didi wants to keep them all.]

Well, I guess we have some more company, then. But just until this weirdness calms down.

[At least a few of the Espurr that are landing around them are congregating around Al, growing his little parade. Most of them are darting off too quick to catch, though, which is probably why Al isn't literally buried in the things yet.]

[Al is trying very, very hard not to giggle at Didi's adamant stare at Winry, and he's failing a little bit. But her gets himself under control before he speaks up again.] Yeah, as much as I'd like to, I know I can't take care of all of these guys at once...are there any adoption centers or Pokemon shelters we can surrender them to after this, um. Storm stops?

[Audino looks very proud of her moment of glory here, and smiles at Alphonse's fail of being amused. Be as amused as you want, she doesn't think Winry would mind actually. Didi keeps looking at the rain though, it's like she wishes she could open her arms and welcome all these new friends to her but Winry would say no to that, wouldn't she?

Winry is too busy thinking about what Al just asked to notice her Audino's wishful thinking right now. Hmm.]

There used to be, I'm not completely sure if they're still in action... And even if they are, they might say no if the line to get these in there becomes too huge.

[No, she's seriously considering options here.] But if it's not here anymore... They might go somewhere for new trainers to catch, eventually, or well, there's always the option of buying many, many Poke Balls and catching many of them into them. They'd go to your box and you could gift them to people or trade even, if you want or ask if anyone would like one as a payment for an egg or something else that they're selling to you later.

Catching them for something like that seems a bit like exploiting them, though...and from what I saw on the network this is happening all over, so anyone that wants one is probably going to catch one.

[Al looks down to the Espurr huddled around him, who are all looking up at him plaintively.] Yeah, even an adoption center like that would only be able to handle so many...but I'll make sure to find homes for these guys, even if I do have to go door-to-door with them.

[They all mew in response to that, pressing closer as they all try to get a bit of him to hug in gratitude.]

I guess it would be a little cruel, but I meant more for anyone who will arrive when this storm is over and well, who knows where these will go after this. ...I'd think they appear somewhere into the nature after a while, or right after though, so maybe they'll still be around.

[Winry gives a gentle laugh at that door-to-door thing.] I can help trying to find good homes for them, if you'd like. But that's later, right now I'm guessing anyone can grab their own from the sky or ...anywhere, really. So let's just enjoy this today.

[Winry sounds relaxed. So relaxed that her Audino lets go of the Espurrs climbing all over her, since she doesn't think that Winry is going to tell her to send them away.]

Ah, yeah! I didn't even think of that. [Al bends down to pat the Espurr still clinging to him.] I know they'll probably do all right settling in the wild, but...I can't help wanting to keep them a little safer.

Would you? That'd be great, we can cover a lot more ground that way! [Al beams gratefully at Winry, and nods to the rest of what she says.] Yeah, let's head back to the hotel and get these guys a little more comfortable.
